Get to know Mrs. Dr's Wife

Want to know me and my blog motivation?
Well...
I grew up a tom boy, and to say I was Daddy's girl is an understatement. I spent my time with my dad working on home repairs and in the shop. Cooking, cleaning and laundry, well I didn't spend much time on that or even wanting to learn any of that. Baking, though, that was also my Dad's thing and the only time I spent in the kitchen and working my way around the oven was when I was helping him. I like to think that I am not half bad at following a recipe when it comes to baked goods.
I never expected to spend my adult life not in the military and as a wife and mother.
As "fate" and a bad knee would have it, I took the fast road to a honorable/medical discharge from the Army, leaving me dreamless and lost with what to do with my life.
One failed marriage to my high school sweetheart (we get along better now than ever for our wonderful son and do the best we can), a new marriage (and my last) and a beautiful daughter later, here I am trying to learn my way through this life and doing the best with what I had never expected.
Domestic stuff doesn't really come naturally for me, so as you can imagine, laundry for a family of four is a bit challenging to tackle and learning to cook along the way... HAHA! Lack of structure and chaos of toys everywhere, child developments, and crazy schedules for my husband's residency for this always has been military brained mama is a continuous learning experience.

SO here I am to share with you my adventures. I will probably jump topics often (you will learn quickly that I have ADD and am currently not always taking medications-more on this later)

My main focuses for now:
On My Way to "Domestication"
Mrs Dr's Wife
And possibly a few posts on adult ADD as I am still learning my way around my late diagnosis.

Hope my lack of organization doesn't scare anyone away :)
